Advertising Box

What is the Advertising Box?

The Advertising Box is a package of important marketing tools which Messe Berlin provides exhibitors in order to optimise and promote their presence at the exhibition. The services of the Advertising Box include the publication of detailed company information in the printed exhibition catalogue as well as an entry in the FRUIT LOGISTICA Virtual Market Place.

The Advertising Box forms part of the initial stand registration. The package is compulsory and costs 499.00 EUR (excl. VAT) for primary exhibitors plus 90.00 EUR (excl. VAT) for each co-exhibitor, invoiced to the primary exhibitor.

Please note that the entry in the Virtual Market Place® offers certain limited functions for co-exhibitors. By upgrading in Virtual Market Place®, co-exhibitors can enjoy the same facilities as primary exhibitors, with additional product entries.

Catalogue entry

How do I obtain an entry in the trade fair catalogue?

Your entry in the official printed exhibition catalogue is also already included in the Advertising Box. Registered exhibitors at FRUIT LOGISTICA are automatically in the catalogue. The basic data for your catalogue entry is taken from the Virtual Market Place®.

The closing date for catalogue entries is 21 November.

The information already entered in the Virtual Market Place® up to that date will be used for the production of your basic entry in the print catalogue. If you have not edited your entry in the Virtual Market Place® by this date, your entry in the print catalogue will be based on the details contained in your stand application form.

The print version of the catalogue will be made available online as a PDF file a few weeks before the start of the exhibition. The printed version of the catalogue will be distributed at FRUIT LOGISTICA and is included in the visitor entry price. After the exhibition, the catalogue can be obtained free of charge from Messe Berlin.

I have received an offer from a catalogue producer for entry in a separate catalogue. What is that?

Some exhibitors occasionally receive offers for fee-based entries in alternative, unofficial media commonly referred to as reference guides, industry directories, independent trade fair publications etc.

Messe Berlin does not endorse the offers made by these publications and is not associated with these publishers in any way.

The production and marketing of the FRUIT LOGISTICA catalogue is done exclusively by Fruchthandel-Magazine, Dr. Rolf M. Wolf Media GmbH. This company is contracted by Messe Berlin to approach exhibitors as the exclusive catalogue publisher for FRUIT LOGISTICA.

If you have had any negative experience with fee-based entries in unofficial publications, we advise you to contact AUMA (Ausstellungs- und Messeausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V.), the German Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee, (info@auma.de).

Stand construction

What services do I need to order for stand construction?

The key services for your trade fair presence include electrical installation, telecommunications, waste disposal, hotel and room booking, etc. All order forms can be found at Exhibitor Service -> Exhibitor Service Manual. A summary of stand construction options and costs can be obtained from: www.mb-capital-services.com

What things do I need to consider when planning my exhibition stand?

  • For a general overview please refer to the Technical Guidelines.
  • Noise abatement: Please note that demonstrations on the stand (musical performances, shows, etc.) are not permitted before 5.30 pm. Events on the stand are subject to a registration requirement, this includes any events that continue beyond the daily hours of operation. FRUIT LOGISTICA has a special section dedicated to exhibitors of technical equipment and machinery which exceed a predefined noise level.
  • Structures requiring approval: Please submit stand construction drawings no later than six weeks before the opening date of the trade fair. This deadline is especially important for structures requiring approval, including double-storey stands, platforms, etc. Failure to submit this information on time may jeopardize stand construction and final acceptance.
  • For further details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions and Technical Guidelines which can be found in the Exhibitor Service Manual.
  • Stand design / General appearance: Stand walls bordering visitor aisles must include transparent panels, niches, displays or the likes in order to provide an open atmosphere on the exhibition stand in tune with the event. Such stand boundary walls facing any open aisle may not exceed 30 % of the stand length boundary, with each section of such wall no longer than 3 meters. Such boundary walls facing the aisle must be suitably decorated with graphics. Any stand construction which includes such stand boundary walls must be submitted for approval. Where the back wall of a stand measuring over 2,50 m in height adjoins that of a neighbouring exhibitor, its appearance must be a neutral white, so as not to adversely affect the appearance of the other stand. The lessee is obliged to install a white partition separating his stand and the directly adjacent stand, which is structurally stable, has no gaps, and bears no advertising of any kind. Any stand construction which includes such walls must be submitted for approval.
